For the past 20 years, I've had the privilege of standing on the sidelines, in gymnasiums, and alongside fields throughout Williamson County, photographing young athletes doing what they love.
People sometimes ask me why I continue doing this after all these years. The answer is simple. Because these moments matter. I know that long after the final whistle blows, the uniforms are put away, and the scores are forgotten, the photographs will remain.
I photograph more than touchdowns, baskets, goals, and victories. I photograph determination, friendships, disappointment, courage, and the pride that comes from giving everything you've got.
To the parents, I know how quickly these years pass. One day you're watching your child take the field for the first time, and before you know it, you're celebrating Senior Night. I want you to have something that brings those memories back forever.
To the athletes, I want you to see yourselves the way I see you through my camera — strong, determined, capable, and part of something special.
Twenty years later, it's still not about the camera. It's about the kids, the families, and the memories. And that's why I keep showing up.
